We found 100 beauty & skincare ads from 49 brands whose main market is Ireland and that ran for 60 days or more on Facebook and Instagram. Brands only keep paying for ads that sell, so a long run is the best public sign that an ad works.
Half of them ran longer than 64 days, shorter than the 66-day median for beauty & skincare ads across Europe, and 15% passed six months. The longest has been running for 542 days.
Most run on Facebook and Instagram (98%). The median ad text is 83 words long, and 64% use emoji. Frøya Organics has the most long-running ads here (14), followed by The Pause Life by Dr. Mary Claire Haver and Vita Liberata.
