We found 2,051 food & drink ads from 1,275 brands that ran for 60 days or more on Facebook and Instagram in Europe and the UK. Brands only keep paying for ads that sell, so a long run is the best public sign that an ad works.
Half of them ran longer than 66 days, and 16% passed six months. The longest has been running for 807 days.
Most run on Facebook and Instagram (95%). The median ad text is 78 words long, and 64% use emoji. Mersey Raw has the most long-running ads here (28), followed by Besser leben, Natürlich gesund and Healthy Petz Co. The biggest markets are the UK, Germany, Italy.

Every night adthief.ai reads Meta’s public Ad Library for the EU and the UK and keeps the ads that have run for 60 days or more, one per creative. An ad counts for its main market, the country where it reached the most people. Markets and industries with fewer than 50 such ads get no page. Meta doesn’t publish spend or sales, so a long run stands in for “profitable”: a strong signal, not a guarantee. Data as of 30 October 2026.
